Whether it’s radio control cars and RC racing or the intense excitement of slot car racing, you can get your speed fix here at Rohnert Park’s center for speed. In addition, one of the several events that take place here regularly is our Friday Night 1RC Oval Racing.
Looking for excitement at a slower pace? We’ve taken care of that, too!
You can take part in the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s League and take a deep dive into the fun realms of fantasy and adventure every week.
And for those of you who find excitement, joy, and a fine sense of accomplishment through model building, the Wine Country Modelers Meeting is an excellent opportunity to share and learn with like-minded modelers.
Of course, there’s no need for serious modelers to stop there.
You can also meet with members of the International Plastic Modeler’s Society (IPMS) to talk about building scale models’ nuances and challenges and gratification. The club meets on the first Monday of each month and is open to all plastic modelers.
Fun with model kits can mean different things to different modelers.
That’s why some are drawn to specific types of models, which is why we also host the Redwood Empire Model Shipwrights. These model shipbuilders are an organized group that meets to discuss the fine art of model shipbuilding. All ship types are represented, including wooden sailing ships, radio control, and plastic kits.
