Radio controlled cars (or RC cars for short) are miniature model cars or trucks that can be controlled from a distance using a specialized transmitter or remote control. The popularity of RC cars in the United States has been on the rise since the 1980s. Now significant numbers of US-based companies are producing top-performing RC cars. American manufacturers like Traxxas, Arrma, and Redcat Racing are some of them.
So, how popular are RC cars?
According to a recent report by leisureguided.com, the RC market dominates almost every part of the globe by region. And in North America, both the U.S. and Canada dominate of the hobby market. But even Mexico, and further south in Brazil and the rest of South American countries also deal in the RC market.
A Quick Look at How We Run an RC Car Theme Party
During one of our RC car theme parties, your child and all the guests will have the excitement of racing scale radio-controlled cars on our quality indoor foam track. Party guests are introduced to the basics of driving RC cars and get to have practice time driving around the racetrack.
Our Fundemonium Party Concierge configures the track and cars based on the age and skill of the guests. RC car racing is an activity that is suitable for kids ages 6 and up. We can set up multiple track layouts, jump ramps, and even make use of our cool quarter-pipe ramp going up the wall!
After each guest has had a chance to practice driving is when the racing begins.
Party guests race their RC cars three at a time while the other guests act as the “pit crew,” whose job it is to place stuck or crashed cars back on the racetrack.
Each RC car race lasts about three minutes, and during a typical party, we are able to stage multiple races for each guest, so there is plenty of opportunity for the birthday child to race against all of their friends.
And our parties last for two hours.
We also work hard to make our parties stress-free for the host parents by providing tablecloths, plates, cups, napkins, utensils, and basic decorations.
You bring your own cake and any special decorations that you like, and we handle set-up and clean-up.
