The very words “RC camp” can’t help but bring to mind images of RC cars and RC trucks for most kids.
Although the vision of sleeping in cabins and learning how to drive RC trucks would be a bit out of place here. However, even though we’re not in the woods and there are no overnights involved, Fundemonium’s RC Camp is an immersive, hands-on adventure that will allow your child to create an RC vehicle, drive RC trucks, and generally have a blast!

This year’s Fundemonium RC Summer Camp will be our popular Summer Slash Camp and will take place here at Fundemonium Monday through Friday, July 10th until July 14th, from 10:00 am till 2:00 pm each day.
You are cordially (and enthusiastically!) invited to bring your child to Fundemonium this summer to enjoy five exciting days of FUN building, driving, and racing a high-quality, remote control Traxxas Slash short course truck.
And the best part of all is your child gets to take it home at the end of the week!
What Is a Short Course RC Truck?
That’s a good question since most of us only think of trucks as, well… trucks!
In a nutshell, a short course truck is a type of RC truck designed for primarily for bashing and racing. Consequently, these rugged RC vehicles are built for durability and high performance so that they can absorb contact with other trucks. The most common size for these trucks is 1/10 scale and they are narrower than a stadium truck, are shorter, and have smaller tires.
Another way of describing short course RC trucks is that they are simply off-road RC vehicles that are modeled after real RC trucks that are raced off-road. These fun RC vehicles are designed to handle off-road terrain well and are a great option for someone looking to use an RC vehicle in the park, woods, or an empty dirt lot.

With the Slash Assembly Kit and our expert instruction, your child will learn the basic skills and knowledge needed to build a Traxxas Slash short course RC racing truck and experience an added dimension of fun and excitement with their never-to-be-forgotten RC experience.
Not only will your child build their Slash from the ground up with all the required parts and electronics included in the kit, but they will also get to:
- Paint it
- Decorate it
- Learn how to fix it
- And race it
In addition to the camaraderie, friendly competition, and exclusive building experience, your child will receive a 2-wheel drive Traxxas Slash short course RC truck worth over $250 and will know how to fix it and keep it running.
The Fundemonium RC Summer Slash Camp consists of four hour daily sessions, for five days, at a cost of only $499 per child. The Camp is recommended for kids ages 8 years and up.
