This is a full-time position is to lead our party and event services. You will develop and promote party offerings, schedule staff and resources, directly coordinate and often personally deliver parties and other store events. You will be responsible for delivering FUN, exciting, creative parties to delight children and their parents. Other duties include in-store toy sales to help customers select the perfect toy or gift.
If you are:
- Warm and welcoming with good communication skills both digital and face-to-face
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to coordinate schedules for staff and resources
- Friendly, engaging, and good with children (ages 3 to 13)
- Creative and entertaining – can keep a group of kids interested for two hours or more
- Good at independent problem solving and troubleshooting during events
- Computer savvy to respond to customer email, manage calendars, and promote events
- Neat and professional
Main duties include:
- Manage all store events: communicate staffing needs to manager, order/purchase supplies
- Advertise and promote store events
- Host parties and other events
- Train staff on how to run events, especially parties
- Create documentation for all recurring events: parties, paint nights, LEGO contests, etc.
- Assist on sales floor with customer service and stocking
- Assist Store Manager with scheduling, reporting, opening, and closing

Preferred consideration will be given for the following experience:
- Previous child-care or entertainment experience
- Previous staff management experience
- Conversational Spanish speaker
- Demonstrated skill in one or more toy or hobby activities
Full-time position begins at $20 per hour.
All jobs include individual performance bonuses.
